How to Apply for GFCCI Judges Recognition
The new framework is open to eligible Gloster judges, breeders and exhibitors from countries represented within the GFCCI.
Applications and nominations must be submitted through the respective GFCCI Country Councillor.
Existing judges wishing to join the GFCCI Judges Panel will be invited to submit details of their judging experience, exhibiting achievements and relevant qualifications.
No existing judging title will automatically determine an applicant's GFCCI classification.
The Council will consider each application on its individual merits, recognising established experience and achievement while maintaining the standards of the new framework.
Council Approval and Online Voting
In accordance with the decision taken at the 2026 AGM, all proposed judges and their classifications will be presented to the GFCCI Council for approval through online voting.
Country Councillors will be responsible for submitting nominations and supporting applications from their respective countries.
The Council will collectively determine whether a nomination is approved or whether further information is required.
Following approval, successful applicants will receive official confirmation of their GFCCI classification and be included in the GFCCI International Judges Register.
Implementation of the New Framework
The GFCCI will begin by inviting Country Councillors to nominate experienced international judges for consideration as Class A Senior International Judges.
Following the establishment of the initial Class A panel, eligible judges will be invited to volunteer as mentors, allowing the educational and practical assessment programmes to be introduced.
Applications for Class B and Class C will follow as the framework is progressively implemented.
Official nomination forms, application procedures and further announcements will be made available through the GFCCI Country Councillors by email.
